Lucas Oil Paris Races

July 30th 2009

We are putting the Aug 22nd, 23rd races on hold till September.

There have been some concerns with noise and neighbors and we have decided to be nice and compliant to the local concerns. We felt it best to have a meeting so we have asked for a meeting with all involved.
We are by no means canceling racing, we have been assured by the fairboard that they want this to go on but to keep the waters smoothed until we can see who shows at the meeting, my self Greg Dinsmore and the Fair board have decided in the best interest of the future of Off Road racing in Paris, that we cancel the Aug. race. We will be meeting with the area people and the county to make sure we are in compliance. At this time we have not broken any rules but we want to keep it that way so we want the blessing of the county before we go on. Rest assured that 5 of the 7 county people are Fair Board members so we all feel this is best to follow what they ask.

Sorry everyone, looking forward to September racing, GET READY!!

Sorry to here , I have been working hard on replacing the engine I toasted at Cedar Springs . Hope it all works out in the long run .

Well that sucks. What about cancelling the August race all together as we already have 2 races in Sept. that are back to back & a 3rd race that's tenative? ? Some of us won't have funding & time off to do 3 or 4 races in a month. Just a suggestion? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Gerry

Gerry, the Aug Race is cancelled, if we make it up it wll be after the sept race with the approval of the racers
